He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee.
Ed served on the initial agent advisory committee for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee and is the Past President of The Knoxville Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors. He currently serves on the board of The Boys & Girls Club.
Ed is a member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church.
